Dr. Ahmad Fatahi Ardakani is a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Ardakan University, holding the rank of Professor. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Agricultural Economics and Ecosystem Management. He has been recognized as a top researcher among Yazd Province universities in 2017 and 2022. Dr. Ardakani has published eight books, 165 conference papers, and 110 journal articles in national and international journals. Over a 24-year period, he has collaborated directly with 15 researchers, the most extensive collaboration being with Masoud Fehrasti Thani, which yielded 24 co-authored scientific articles. His published work predominantly addresses willingness to pay, contingent valuation, Iran, and the economic value of water. In the past, he has also served as Deputy for Education and Research at this university.
